being human means feeling
even the smallest of intentions
the most insignificant of moments
it’s because of that fact
that we make memories
that we make connections
when those promising moments
fall through, it’s tough to see
beyond what’s been broken
there really is no replacement
not someone to bounce back on
no one really deserves that
time cannot heal all wounds
but perhaps, just perhaps
time can make us grow
and that’s all anyone can really hope for
